View WorkI was 32 and living in Washington Heights the year I should have fallen in love. Something else happened instead: A man tried to rape me on my way home from work. It was mid-October, and I was walking in a park near the George Washington Bridge. I had been caught off guard by how quickly darkness fell that evening and was already feeling spooked when I caught sight of a man running through the bushes beside the path.
Read MoreKris was the one of the first writers I reached out to when I was building WatercoolerHQ.co, as I found her writing to be fresh and thought-provoking. She adds depth and point of view that's often missing from TV and film coverage, and she doesn't just write for SEO or click bait; she keeps the reader in mind. Kris also has terrific ideas for original series from around the world that others aren't finding or covering, part of our mission, and she turns around assignments quickly and perfectly aligned with our formats.
It's always a pleasure to work with Kris Herndon. Definitely always looking forward to seeing what she comes up with!
Kris is a pleasure to work with! She's a great listener, very responsive, and always meets her deadlines. Most importantly, her creative copy consistently responds to our project's objectives and target audience.
Kris is a gem. Her work is the best kind of writing: it tells the truth while staying considerate of its subject and reader alike.
Working with Kris is always a delight! She is a strong writer and a charming visual artist who is full of creative surprises. She’s also very open-minded about any editing suggestions or customization requests I might have, and she turns in quality work on time every time. She was witty and insightful as a podcast guest, too. I can’t recommend her enough!
